Pros:
- Extremely simple and efficient approach to storing multiple keys without the jingle jingle & bulk of traditional key chains.
- Excellent fit with an air-craft style & finish on a sleek, easy-to-carry-frame design.
- Accommodates most keys and is configurable to meet your needs in an expandable format.
- Keyring loop, split ring, and blank keys are included basic starter kit.
Cons:
- The posts are extremely sensitive in the ability to achieve the perfect friction & tension for keys to properly fan out.
- This unit is very difficult to opened easily with one hand.
- Thinking of installing less than four keys.. then this product is probably not for you.
Our Opinion In a Nutshell:
- The KeySmart system would benefit most anyone.
- It makes a great addition to an existing keyring system or it can totally replace one altogether!
- The “Key” point is to make sure your assembly is done correctly using spacers to align the keys to smoothly slide out.
- Periodically check to ensure the “locking screws” are always tightened.
- The bottom line is…. at under $20 for the basic 4 key starter kit, it’s a good value and offers minimal risk in the unlikely event it’s not for you!
